Runigami gifts is a small business run by I, Jenny Le (Runi), a high school student in need of funds and business experience. Origami is the main focus of my business. Origami as a gifts; origami as decor, origami as a way of showing someone you love them. Currently in my inventory I have origami cranes and stars of all colors, I have earrings made from these small origami crafts. I take so much pleasure in making origami as a gift for friends, they seem to enjoy my projects and have them handy. I've made my first pair of dangle earrings as a gift for a graduating friend this year, and have a project of a thousand cranes for a close friend who was in the hospital for a long time. Runigami came from the idea of giving a gift that means something to the giver and and receiver.
Origami can be worn as an accessory, placed ingeniously on a desk or table as decoration, or be hung from a rear view mirror or a ceiling. Origami is beautiful and beautifying your home or office will increase a flow of harmonious chi, success, luck, and happiness can be attracted with a pretty display of origami cranes or stars or both!
I haven't been folding for years, only approximately six months, however in that small time I have made over one thousand cranes. The first thousand I have made is part of a five thousand project, the thousand I am working on is for my close friend who was in the hospital and is now in a rehabilitation center he'll be released at the end of the month luckily. My inspiration comes from my friends and wanting to do more for them then I could otherwise.
Runigami Gifts is based on love, love for the craft, love for my friends, and love from the giver to the recipient.
